Vase Bottle
How can I improve on my still life drawing?
We have to draw a few vases, bottles and such for art class…and I’m having trouble with the proportion of the items. Any tips on how I can improve?

i always compare and relate.
of course doing the contours first is the best way to check the proportion.
practice “drawing with your eyes”
and always knowing the subject.
another way i check it to get a camera or a camera phone and putting the screen on mirror mode. then when you look at your drawing through the camera you can DEFINATELY tell what is off.
but its mainly practicing and practicing. your gonna have errors but you will learn new ways/techniques on the way therefore increasing knowledge and skill
